It’s a bit complicated to mail claim forms to the insurance company when you’re in another country!
And it can take a LONG time.
The good news is that you are able to file your medical claims online, which simplifies the process and speeds up the time it takes to pay claims.
How to File a Travel Insurance Claim with HCC
If your travel insurance policy is with HCC, the claims process happens within their “ClientZone” portal, which is accessible to all policyholders.
- To begin the process, log in and select “Claims Information.”
- If your medical bills have been submitted directly by the medical provider, you will only need to complete the claimant’s statement form, plus the accident questionnaire if claiming an accident.
- If you are having to file the medical bills yourself, you’ll need to scan them (use a scanner app from a smart phone or a regular scanner) and upload them to the system. Upload itemized medical bills and your receipts and then complete the rest of the process.
